About — Mario Grossenbacher

Mario’s work has spanned both fiction projects and non-fiction documentaries - with his stylistic preference often lying somewhere in the middle of these two worlds.

He’s based out of Zurich, Switzerland and graduated in 2026 in the Bachelor of Camera Arts at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art.

Besides his role as a Director of Photography, he has experience as 2nd AC and Gaffer. He has worked with a variety of gear and cameras such as Sony (FX3, A7CII, A7III), Canon (C200II), Blackmagic (6k, 4k, OG), Panasonic, Nikon, GFM Dolly System, DJI Ronin M.
